Alexandra graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna where she did her Master in architecture in Studio Lynn. At i.sd she is involved in a series of research projects on the experimental use of augmented reality in design and fabrication. Her main interests lie at the intersection between humans, architecture and technology, the latter being integrated as a creative medium for expression in the process of conceptual design. Alexandra has played a key role in the FFG project „3D Vision“ funded by the FFG where she worked on the augmentation of climate data in virtual and physical city models. She has carried out various interactive augmented installations with students, e.g. during the research project „Augmented Objects“ and the exhibition „Vergessen“ at the Ferdinandeum, Tyrol. She is also a lecturer in the postgraduate course „Designing Future Realities“ by the University of Innsbruck and Werkstätte Wattens.
