MUCHEN YAN

Muchen Yan studied architecture at the University of Melbourne and the Royal Danish Academy, where she also worked as a student research and teaching assistant at CITA, Center for Information Technology and Architecture. At CITA, she completed multiple projects with interest in bio-based material, digital fabrication and human-robot collaborations. She also worked as a designer at MAEID, focusing on research-based architectural design. Muchen joined i.sd as a PhD candidate in 2024, focusing on digital design and robotic fabrication with an emphasis on sustainable materials, recycling and circular material processes.
