Maximilian Wacker studied architecture at the Faculty of Innsbruck and graduated in 2020 with his master thesis on robotic 3D-printing and emergent aesthetics of natural fibre composites at i.sd. He joined the robotic research lab in 2021 where he worked on various 1:1 implementations such as the robotically aggregated timber structures for the University garden at the Campus Technik. Currently he focuses on robotic spraying of cellulose-based composites and their application in architecture.
